Custom USDOT Truck Number Decals and Lettering in Houston
Vinyl USDOT number sets and company name lettering for pickups, box trucks and trailers. You tell us your numbers and where they go; we cut clean, readable lettering in the size and color you need.
- Physical vinyl lettering, not a filing or permit service
- Sized and colored to contrast with your door
- Sets for one truck or the whole fleet
- Can be combined with your logo lettering
Who Orders USDOT Lettering From Us
Mostly trades and service companies whose trucks or trailers cross the weight or commerce thresholds that trigger marking rules — landscapers pulling equipment trailers, roofers with dump trailers, hot-shot owner-operators, and growing fleets adding a new truck.
What We Make
- USDOT number sets for both sides of the vehicle
- Company name lines to go with the numbers
- Additional ID lines you specify
- Matching sets for every truck in a fleet
Lettering is cut from vinyl in a color that reads clearly against your paint — white on dark trucks, black on light ones, or your brand color when it contrasts well.
Size, Quantity And Placement
Tell us the letter height you need, or tell us the requirement you're working to and we'll lay out a set that fits your door. We'll mock up the placement on a photo of your truck so you can see it before we cut.
Please verify requirements yourself. Rules differ by operation type and change over time. We produce what you approve; we don't provide legal or compliance advice.
Add Your Brand While You're At It
Many customers add their logo and phone number at the same time. See truck & van lettering or our full fleet graphics options.
Timing
Simple number sets are usually quick, but timing depends on how many vehicles and whether we're also doing logo lettering.
Same-day or rush is possible only when we confirm it with you by phone. Call before you're up against an inspection or a deadline.
Pickup & Shipping
We serve Tomball, Northwest Houston and the Greater Houston area. Local pickup is coordinated ahead of time — we don't operate a walk-in storefront, so please call or text to set a pickup time.
Nationwide shipping is available on eligible products. Ask when you order and we'll confirm.
Questions We Get Asked
Will your lettering make my truck compliant?
We make the physical lettering to the size, wording and placement you request. We can't give a compliance guarantee — the owner or operator is responsible for confirming which FMCSA and Texas rules apply to their vehicle and operation. Check FMCSA's official marking guidance or ask your compliance contact before you order.
What do I need to give you?
Your exact USDOT number, the legal or operating company name you want shown, any other numbers you display (such as a TxDMV number), the number of vehicles, and a photo of each door so we can check space and color.
Do you install it?
You can apply simple number sets yourself — they come pre-spaced on transfer tape. Professional installation is available by appointment in the Houston area.
Can you match my existing lettering?
Usually, yes. Send a clear close-up photo and we'll get as close as we can on font and color.
Can you ship DOT number sets?
Number sets are typically an eligible product for shipping. Confirm with us when you order.
