Who Magnetic Signs Are For
Magnets make the most sense when one truck does double duty. If you're an electrician who drives the same pickup to jobs on Tuesday and to church on Sunday, a pair of door signs lets you look like a real company without committing the truck to permanent graphics.
- Owner-operators and new LLCs that aren't ready for full lettering
- Service crews using company-reimbursed personal vehicles
- Leased trucks where permanent vinyl isn't allowed
- Seasonal or temporary crews
First, The Compatibility Check
Magnets require magnetic steel body panels. They do not stick to aluminum, fiberglass or plastic. Before you order, hold a regular magnet flat against each door where the sign will go. It should grab firmly across the whole area, not just at the edges.
Also look for body lines, trim or ridges. A magnet needs a flat, smooth area to sit tight — if the door is heavily sculpted, a smaller size or vinyl may work better. Send us a photo of the door and we'll tell you.
If your truck turns out to be aluminum, we'll point you to truck lettering instead.
Pricing
- 12 x 24 magnetic truck signs — $99 per pair. The standard door size for most pickups and work trucks.
- 18 x 24 magnetic truck signs — $149 per pair. A larger format for bigger doors and better visibility from the road.
Prices above are for standard sizes. Very simple one-color lettering layouts may qualify for a lower price — ask when you call. Custom sizes, multi-color logos and larger quantities are quoted individually. Need them fast? Rush orders are sometimes available depending on the schedule — call 281-994-9505 and we'll tell you honestly what we can do, or request a quote.

Questions We Get Asked
Will a magnetic sign stick to my truck?
Only if the door is magnetic steel. Many newer trucks — including 2015 and newer Ford F-150s and newer Ford Super Duty models — use aluminum body panels, and magnets will not hold on aluminum. The quick test is to hold a fridge magnet on the door. If it falls, we'll recommend vinyl lettering instead.
How much do magnetic truck signs cost?
Standard 12 x 24 magnetic truck signs are $99 per pair, and 18 x 24 pairs are $149. Custom sizes, multi-color logos and larger quantities are quoted individually — call 281-994-9505 or request a quote and we'll give you a written price, usually within 24 hours.
Can I take them off whenever I want?
Yes, that's the main reason people choose magnets. Remove them for personal use, car washes, or when you sell the truck. Take them off and wipe the door and the back of the magnet now and then so moisture and grit don't get trapped underneath.
Do I need a finished logo?
No. Send what you have — a logo file, a photo of your old sign, or just your business name and number — and we'll lay it out. Logo design is available if you need one.
What should I do if my truck is aluminum?
Go with cut vinyl lettering. It's applied directly to the door, works on aluminum, and gives a cleaner permanent look.
